Meet the Creators of Ridiculous Thing...

The creators of Ridiculous Thing

Andy SeilerAndy Seiler (book, lyrics)

Andy was writing The Most Ridiculous Thing You Ever Hoid when a very rare virus almost killed him and left him disabled. (No, this is not a joke.) Was God trying to tell him something? (That IS a joke.) Fortunately, genius co-writers Beckerman and Wemyss took this thing over and finished it – without being struck by lightning. Before illness took him out, Andy was an entertainment journalist for almost 20 years, ultimately spending almost a decade at USA TODAY. Today, Andy is a Cyborg (NOT a joke). He lives with an implant on his motor cortex. Andy lives in Washington, DC, and has more than 8,000 unread emails in his Gmail account. Will yours be next?

Jim BeckermanJim Beckerman (book, music, lyrics)

Jim is a blues and ragtime pianist and composer who has been described as part Jerry Lee Lewis and part Jerry Lewis. He's written songs with Andy Seiler for 30 years, and has played in the VooDudes, The Hammers, The Noisy Neighbors, and Nine Below Zero. His solo album, "Born to Boogie" (available here) was released in 2000. He lives in South Amboy, NJ, and writes for The Record newspaper of Bergen County, NJ.

Fred WemyssFred Wemyss (book)

Fred grew up in Huntington, New York, where he still lives. He has considered himself a writer since the age of nine. The Most Ridiculous Thing You Ever Hoid is his first foray into the public sphere, however, unless you count his hundred-plus performances on Youtube.

Read some of the RIDICULOUS things Fred tells himself.
